Lim Siew Siew

Siew Siew has been practising energy healing since 2007. Her initial motivation was to alleviate the physical ailments of her three young children. Over the years, her life experiences have included loved ones being afflicted with terminal illnesses and subsequently, death. This led her to realise the importance of healing, not only when one is outwardly healthy, but especially in soothing the pain and suffering of one who is severely ill as well as in grief recovery. Siew Siew specialises in Reiki, Bach Flower Remedies and also offers counselling services.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing approach that focuses on restoring health. With its roots in Japan, Reiki taps on universal energy to help to replenish or recharge one’s energy levels which may have been depleted or dysfunctional. Energy depletion is quite common given that everyone is working long hours, not getting sufficient sleep, subject to emotional disturbances and not looking after one’s nutrition. Reiki helps to facilitate improved health, for the best interest of the receiver. Siew Siew is a certified teacher and practitioner of both traditional Japanese Reiki (certification issued by the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto) as well as Usui Reiki from Western practices. The availability of various approaches is to facilitate individual preferences but the underlying intention of helping to improve health is the same.

Many people suffer from physical ailments but with the root cause being emotional disturbances. While Reiki can offer support in this regard, it can be further supplemented by the use of Bach Flower Remedies. Formulated by a doctor, Edward Bach, these remedies work on emotions such as fear and anxiety which arise from an energy imbalance. These remedies, having been extracted from a variety of flowers, are administered to help bring a person back into balance which in turn alleviates the discomfort. Siew Siew is a registered Bach Flower Registered Practitioner (BFRP), a certification issued by the Bach Centre in the UK.

Siew Siew also holds a Masters degree in Counselling, to further hone the necessary skills to be a compassionate and empathic healer in working with those in need of healing.
