House of Healing

Healing is such a generic word as it encompasses a wide spectrum of definitions, from soothing emotions, relieving stress, to restoring health. The House of Healing can offer all this and more.

When does a person require healing? Frankly, we need healing every day! The human body is subject to many stressors as it goes through its daily life experiences, from work to personal relationships. Prolonged stresses can wear a person down, drain his energy and even result in physical discomfort or illness. Some may have had painful childhoods that affect their adult lives.

Energy healing, such as Reiki and the Bach Flower Essences, facilitates the healing of the human body through the introduction of energy to boost or recover one’s energetic system. Or you may choose to work with the constraints given to you as a child that is still preventing you from achieving your full potential today. The House of Healing offers several approaches to healing, where one can either choose to receive healing or learn to heal oneself.

The House of Healing’s passion and work ethic is reflected in the animal totem of the Badger. While small and seemingly unassuming, the badger is fiercely driven towards what it wants to achieve. The word “badger” is also derived from a French word meaning “digger” and which reflects the House of Healing’s role to help one to “dig” inwards, to heal oneself on a deeper level.

Energy healing can clearly reach a deeper level, to heal not just at the physical plane, but also at the mental, emotional and even spiritual planes. All it takes is for an open heart and open mind to receive. The badger itself is also a formidable healer, as it is able to endure bites from venomous animals; all it requires is just a few hours of rest and its body heals itself. This is an important lesson for us all – that we each have innate healing abilities and we can all heal ourselves!
